A Prophetic Word for America

Friends, in 32 years of ministry I can’t think of one time I shared a word I felt came from God in the first person on a national level. But as my wife and I were driving from Tel Aviv to Ashkelon today, I began to pray and sensed God was speaking. He started by telling me, “People think you are sharing your political opinion (in a few online posts). I want you to prophesy so they can hear my heart.”

And then He began to speak to me about His heart. I wrote it down as soon as we arrived at our destination. There are things written below that I had never even thought of until He spoke them.

New Testament prophecy is always partial (1 Cor. 13:9) and filtered through our personhood, and to be judged by others, but not to be despised. (1 Thess. 5:20-21). My words are the ones not in quotes.

I humbly submit this to the body in the fear of the Lord:

Below is what I discern to be a message from the Holy Spirit for America:

“Do not process what is happening in America in a political way. If you do, you will choose a side, right or left, but I am seated in heavenly places, not on the political right or the political left, but in heaven above.

“Since, then, you have been raised with Messiah, set your hearts on things above, where Messiah is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Messiah in God.” (Col. 3:1-2)

“‘For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ (Is. 55:8)

“You will say ‘but this’ and ‘but that,’ but I am looking for your obedience. What does my word say regarding the poor, hurting and broken? Does it say to choose a political side? Or to reach out to them? Reaching out in my love is not a right-wing or left-wing solution, but an upward solution that will release my grace and power.

“The key to the revival that you in the ‘white church’ seek, is the white church reaching out to the black community with my love, healing power and practical help… [such as listening and serving, and if possible, mentoring and tutoring]—I am calling you to share your lives with them.

“I will deal with the looters and criminals through the criminal justice system, yet even they have a purpose just as I used Assyria to judge Israel. (Is. 10:5-6) In the end, I judged Assyria for her actions.

“But I want you to look deeper and bring my healing touch to black America. There is no other answer. Hear my voice, ‘THERE IS NO OTHER ANSWER!’ Will you be my body? Will you be my hands? My heart breaks for them; does yours?

“Why did I use the symbol of the Kansas City Chiefs to prophesy a coming revival? Because chiefs are native Americans; an oppressed community. Broken and in need.

[Some asked, “How long do [Native Americans] hold a grudge? How many years have passed since slavery was legal?” The answer is simple—until there is healing.]

“If you want revival, then you will have to leave your neighborhoods and gated communities. You will need to share your riches and experience with a people not your own. Are you willing? What is your life to you? You were bought with a price. (1 Cor. 6:20)

“What was the cry of the Hebrew prophets? Look at their hearts. When they entered into the political arena, it was to release my Word and speak against injustice. They cried out on behalf of the broken, the orphaned, the fatherless and the widow.

“‘Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?’” (Is. 58:6)

[The woman caught in adultery, the Good Samaritan, all the untouchables that Yeshua touched from beggars to lepers to prostitutes.]

“You want me to remove the agitators, so you can continue in comfort. Hear me, I have not called you to a life of comfort, but comforting others—and in that you will find true comfort. The agitators are my servants, sent to wake you up to the need. If you respond to the need, I will deal with the agitators and send winds of refreshing—the ones you have longed for.

“No, this is not the revival ‘package’ you were looking for, but it is the one I am sending. I need you to be ME to them; not to make excuses why they deserve what they are getting.

“Will you rise up? Rise up to that heavenly calling where Yeshua weeps and intercedes (Romans 8:34) for all who are in need. Will you call them to me, to salvation and freedom?

“Where are MY leaders? Where are MY ACTIVISTS, where are my HOLY AGITATORS, anti-looters, who give and don’t take, who love and don’t hate? I can’t do it without you. (Romans 10:14) I do not have a plan B. You are my representatives on earth until I come. Rise up people of God and do not miss this moment. Who will answer the call to love these people?

“You fight for biblical values, but I am calling you to live them out. For all your fighting, what has it gotten you? You are losing ground daily. Why? Because you have the cart before the horse.

“Is the New Covenant commission to fight for biblical values in the public square? Or to preach the Message of the Gospel that changes lives. ‘Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, the NEW CREATION has come: The old has gone, the new is here!’ (2 Cor. 5:17)

“Did Paul my servant preach Biblical values to the lost?

“‘I will not venture to speak of anything except what Messiah has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obey God by what I have said and done—by the power of signs and wonders, through the power of the Spirit of God. So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the Gospel of the Messiah. It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Messiah was not known…’ (Romans 15:18-20)

“His Message was Jesus! Preaching biblical values to unbelievers is like driving a car without oil. It will not work. [And it has not worked.]

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is not preaching biblical values to the lost, but this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep one’s self from being polluted by the world.”(James 1:27)

“However, the oil is the Power of the My Spirit. When you preach the gospel in BOTH power and love; in word and deed, when you truly represent my heart to a broken world, then you will see fruit. And then, they will gladly embrace my values.”

I felt there was more to say, but I do yet have the faith to prophecy it.
I have a friend in the US. He and his wife are very successful, with three grown children. About 8 years ago they took in an African American pre-teen. At first it was just visits for mentoring, but then after the death of her mother and then her caretaker, and being left in a completely dysfunctional environment, they adopted her. She is now about to graduate from a private high school, and she knows Jesus. Without them, I can’t even imagine where she would be today!

No, not everyone has that type of grace, but it is an example of how actions of love speak louder than words. We can’t miss this moment.

I will give you a confirmation. As a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I had been thinking for some time about what I could do to reach out to the African American community. Our city has a quarter million population, and I called to see when restrictions on outdoor gatherings would be lifted. They said it would be in the next few days. So I reserved a large outdoor pavilion for Saturday, July 18, in a city park that sits on a major thoroughfare that is heavily used by African Americans and their families. I put in a request for several thousand dollars of groceries from a grocery chain in our community. My goal is to give away bags of groceries and one thousand 5 pound bags of potatoes. African American, Hispanic, and whites are planning and volunteering for this day. A big BBQ grill on wheels was donated to cook and give away hot dogs, drinks, and water all day long to all who come by. We will have music, singing, (Including a powerhouse African American ladies trio, and a Christian rapper!) testimonies from former prisoners who have been transformed and are now living a blessed life in Christ, and ministry of the Word with invitation to receive Christ. All day long experienced volunteers will love on and pray for the needs of all who come by, and hopefully lead many to Christ. Bibles and book will be given away. To confirm that God is in this, donations of finances, of equipment and goods, and requests to volunteer and participate are pouring in. Even the city scheduler said, “We need this, we want to make this happen!” We are calling it “The Day of Hope.” Without the riots and unrest, I might still be “thinking about” how to reach out to the African American community. We were spurred to action! Please pray for us, for love and reconciliation, and salvations. And for those “with ears to hear,” your word is “right on” from the Lord!!! This is a wise and helpful word. It appears to be addressed to the church in America AS IF IT WERE WHITE and the minorities are not. We can overlook that perspective and take to heart the truth that is spoken.. There are First Nation and Black and Hispanic and Asian and European cultures that are the church in the US.

I see how it may seem that way Kieth, but the way I understood it was the Lord addressing His “white church” (the white portion of His church”) because whites have been the offenders & oppressors. So His white sons and daughters need to take

He is calling white sons & daughters to wrap their arms around our oppressed, grieving, grossly mistreated black brothers & sisters and black communities and stand with them and be His vessels of healing, love, and to loose the chains of injustice, set the oppressed free and break every yoke.

Yes Lord we repent of not being your heart, love and hands to the hurting, lonely and homeless. Please help us to get out of the safety of our 4 walls and go out to reach these dear ones.
Lord we ask for an out pouring of sacrificial love to break our heart for what breaks Yours.
To do the Kingdom not preach about it. To dig deep into our pockets and houses and food cupboards and excess and start doing with less.

Wow…Ron. Such powerful words to call us all into revival! May we all mightily preach Jesus alone, our Passover Lamb, crucified and resurrected to life, to our world through our individual thoughts, words and deeds. I will be meditating and praying upon this revelation, and how Adonai will have me be His body here on earth.
P.S.- I will be praying for your faith to propel you into sharing the rest of His revelation.

This is a “good word”. Been thinking about this for about a month. This gives words to my thoughts. Thank-you! Hallelujah!

Very congruent with what I am hearing from Scripture and from the Lord.

  8. Teresa Miller June 13, 2020 at 1:59 am

I will say amen! It is a good word and my spirit bears witness. Bless you for your humble bravery.

  9. Juanita Geaham June 13, 2020 at 3:18 am

Thank you, I have been loving, giving and praying for the broken hearted, poor, and needy
for many years. I see so. many believers close their ears and hearts to the hurting. It must
break the heart of God to see His own not caring. There are seventy something verses, old
and New Testament , promiseing blessing if we do and curses if we don’t.
Less you and yours for your faithfulness. Because of Him, Juanita

Mr. Cantor, seems you miss the war that is really going on. i choose to believe the bishop’s version of the truth. Thank you Bishop Vigano for speaking truth instead of trying to put unmerited guilt on a whole race. Racism is racism no matter what color you are. The German airforce blew my uncle into a million pieces, is every German supposed to bow to me? History is what it is, go back far enough and everybody can gripe. But right now today in USA, many so called aggreived are robbing and looting the homes and businesses of people that did nothing to them. Nothig says social justice like a 65 inch flat screen.

  13. Kerry June 14, 2020 at 2:27 pm

Thank you Ron for promptly sharing God’s word which confirms clearly how we are to be living out our lives. This has helped me so much. My prayer is now that I will be able to ‘truly represent God’s heart to a broken world.”
May God’s Grace & Favour be upon you and your family.
